All of Josephine’s paintings are done as ‘contacted paintings’ - meditating the inner contact or inner power to flow into the painting as it is being created. When finished, the painting is fully and ritually consecrated in the traditional magical adept method (made sacred) to enable power and contact to flow through it.

On the 30th day of Khoiak (Ka.his.Ka - Ka upon Ka), the coming together of the body Osiris is completed with the Raising of the Djed, the life stability of Oiris.

This painting, which is consecrated with traditional magical utterance, is a window of the power of regeneration, renewal of life, fertility, and the planting of seeds.

The Divine Water of Life is closely linked to Truth (Maat), and in the Underworld it is guarded by the Serpents of the Goddess.

Consecrated with traditional magical utterance, it is the power of cleansing, truth, renewal and the stars. Hidden in the Underworld, the sacred waters stay protected until it is time once again for them to surface in our world.

Here is also a photograph of the painting with light shining on it so that you can see the various things going on in the background…. lots of beings and powers turned up to be in this painting…. when it is in front of you, the more you look, the more you see.

Although some of the shapes may appear odd or terrifying once you spot them, they are guarding the sacred waters and those who honour such.

The painting started as the Utterance of Maat, and then quickly turned into this…
